Hi there! I’m Serra Comert, a second-year graduate student at the University of Southern California.
My interests include semantics, pragmatics, and psycholinguistics. I am currently working on Turkish semantics, and the relationship between language processing and general cognition.
I am particularly interested in:
- Evidentials, and their extensions,
- Nominalized “complements” to nouns, and their resemblance to the nominal constructions,
- Null arguments and their interpretation,
- Linguistic prominence, and how it interacts with other perceptual domains.
